Refund Policy

Offbook does not bill you directly. Every purchase is handled by the store you bought it from, and that store runs the refund. This page tells you which one to go to.

Purchases through Discord

Offerings bought inside Discord — including any recurring one — are billed and controlled by Discord. Manage or cancel them in your Discord settings, and request refunds through Discord's purchase-support process. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal while access continues through the displayed period-end date, though a refund, payment reversal, or provider-required action may end it sooner.

Purchases of the desktop build

The desktop build is a one-time purchase transacted through Steam, and Steam's refund rules apply. Request a refund through Steam Support rather than through us — we cannot reverse a Steam charge. Nothing in this policy limits a refund or withdrawal right that Steam or applicable law gives you.

A refunded desktop purchase removes the licence to the full build. A demo build never contained paid content, so nothing about it changes.

If you are not sure, or something went wrong

Contact Offbook Support with the store you purchased from, the date of the charge, and what you would like to happen. We can help you work out which process applies and follow up on a purchase that behaved incorrectly. Do not send payment-card numbers — we neither need nor store them.

Transcripts after a refund or cancellation

Transcripts already validly recorded remain available to their owner to browse, read, download, export, or delete. Those privacy and ownership controls are not a benefit of any continuing payment, and losing access to a paid offering does not remove them. New transcript capture follows whatever access you currently have, and stops at the next session boundary when that access ends.

This does not apply to desktop games hosted on someone's own computer: those records live on the host machine and are the host's to keep or delete. See thePrivacy Policy.
